Colegio de la Inmaculada is a Catholic school for primary and secondary education run by the Jesuits in Lima, Peru since 1878. It finds its roots in a school called Real Colegio de San Martin which was created by the Society of Jesus in 1582. == History ==
Colegio de la Inmaculada began operations on April 8, 1878, at a location near the old National Library (Av Abancay). In 1966, work began to house on one campus sections of kindergarten, primary, and secondary. The transfer involved many changes, but allowed greater interaction between students and their teachers / tutors. Since 2010, the College began a process of coeducation that allows for the first time to have boys and girls. For more than 130 years, the school had been operating as an all-boys Catholic school.
